Time just flies.....

when you are catching up on your favourite blogs!

I'm supposed to be updating pinetreehouse.org right now but there is so much wonderful stuff to catch up on! This morning's service was just wonderful - Spirit led worship and, once again, a Spirit led message from Pastor Dave. We are being taught and led by God to be available; to be salt and light to a hurting world and especially so to our local community. We are being equipped to be wholly available so that we will be ready for the harvest! Praise God!

We have two new exhorters in our fellowship - the Old Vic and Mamma Kriss passed the exam and came through their interviews and we give God the glory for these two children of God obeying His call upon their lives!
Pastor Louise, the Old Vic, Mamma Kriss, Pastor Dave.

Yesterday was the Church of God, Scotland; National Ministry Day. The meeting was through in Inverness and we had a wonderful day of teaching from Dr. Grant McClung and our State Overseer, Billy McLaughlan. It was an all day event and in the evening we had reports from four fellowships about how they are reaching unsaved people throughout the world. When you hear other fellowships' reports you suddenly realise just how much is going on in God's name!

Here are some of the countries that the Church of God, Scotland is touching:

the whole of North Africa through supporting Arab World Ministries; parts of India; the Phillipines; Bulgaria; Latvia; Germany; France; Belgium; Czechoslovakia - and there is a whole lot more! It is amazing to think that when you put all the little bits of support together from all the other supporters then God just puts in place exactly what people need! It's just wonderful.

Ok. We have a baptism service this afternoon - outdoors! One brave girl is being baptised in the sea just off the east beach of Lossiemouth. Technically that is the North Sea and it aint the warmest of seas in the summer!!! Pastor Dave has decided to wear a wet suit! Can't say I blame him.

Will report back later.
