just to let you know that I am ok and safely returned from the trip down south to Motherwell.
The match was pretty poor but it was good to see the blues again and we had a good time with our fellow Evertonians! Got to see some new players and the new centre back, Pers Kroldrup, looked a good signing - very confident and the right physical build for a centre back. Two young guys who have just signed professional contracts, after being in the youth squad, also got a run out in the second half and looked ok.
Had a great talk with Gary on Friday. He was really challenged last Sunday (10 July) by what was said prior to taking communion. He knew that he had a decision to make - either for Christ or against Christ. Praise God he chose for Christ! So tomorrow evening I am starting a Parenting Course with him. Pray for Gary and his wife Jill, and also pray for me that God will give me the right mind and wisdom in my meetings with Gary. And guess what? Gary is also an Evertonian, so I'm doubly blessed!!!
