here's the thing.
We have arrived safe and sound in Nuneaton. After catching up with Kriss' sister and brother-in-law we decided to take a walk into town.
So, we are walking along into town and we had just walked past two young girls. A few seconds later we hear a thump and a bang; looking round to my right I see one of these young girls horizontal in the air after being hit by an MPV; they had just stepped out into the road. So we get across to this girl and she is still with us; no bleeding; no obvious head injuries; Kriss gets on the phone for the ambulance; I keep talking to the girl and find out from her friend that her name is Annabelle. Surrounded by a few people by now [busy High St] and Kriss starts to check Annabelle; police arrive and eventually the ambulance. Gently lay my hand on Annabelle's temple and pray just above her ear. She will have heard me put her in the Lord's care. So please pray for Annabelle.
We are going to check with the hospital later but they probably will not tell us anything. However we found out that Annabelle's dad owns the hotel where me & Kriss had our wedding reception so we may check there later or tomorrow.
