Went for a walk, this afternoon, up the hill at the back of the cottage. It was a frosty day with glorious sunshine. Our cottage is the one on the left of the photo.Yesterday we watched the annual "Boxing Day" [British public holiday] swim in Burghead [local fishing village] harbour. This year there were 67 swimmers and it is all done to raise funds for a local charity. They must be crazy!!! Check the photos here.
Everton lost again yesterday 0 v 4 at Aston Villa. We are in deep trouble now with half the season gone. Tomorrow night we are at home to Liverpool, our city rivals, and they have won their last 9 games! Oh boy!!!
We have had a great Christmas and we are both off work until 9th January. We are planning to go away next week for a few days; probably across to Ullapool on the west coast; we just need to relax and enjoy time together.
