it has been a good start to the day!
On going into the living room this morning Kriss noticed a damp patch in the ceiling. We have had high winds and a lot of rain during the night. So, quick look outside and there are about three roof slates dislodged so I guess that during the night the rain has been driven into the roof space. Anyway it doesn't look too bad; it has stopped raining and it is not as windy as it was. Right, our son is here now so we are going into the roof space to see what is happenning. Have already contacted the insurers and a recorded message said that you can go ahead with claims upto £500 and send in the invoice - so that's what we'll do.
