with our daughter which was nice, but she is a member of a para normal investigation group. They go to various locations with their equipment and basically see if they can record para normal activity. It's obviously very disappointing for me and Kriss as 'R' is a backslidden, baptised believer. When she was 14 she was at a Christian Holiday/Ministry week and not only was she baptised in the Spirit, with tongues, but she was also told that she had the gift of prophecy. At the time the church we were attending was not a spirit filled fellowship and in fact the pastor spoke against the gifts of the spirit saying that the spirit was only active within the timescale of the New Testament. 'R' obviously struggled with this and when she went off to college at 17 "church" no longer played a part in her life. She is now 25 and we know that she belongs to God but we have to treat her as if she is a non-believer. We love her to bits and we know that God has his hand upon her and she will once again acknowledge Him as Lord.
Everton lost their last game of the season but manager David Moyes was last night named the Manager of the Year by the League Manager's Association. Nice one Davie!
Strange last couple of days as the temperature has been really low and then at about 11am this morning it snowed! For goodness sake, it's the middle of May!!!
Kriss is off to Latvia next week with Pastor Dave and two others from our fellowship. They are visiting our linked sister church and will be taking loads of devotional material, toiletries, books and baby stuff with them. Please remember them in your prayers.
