Great day yesterday; weather was not too good, being wet, windy and icy. Morning service was a bit special with a very strong sense of God's prescence during communion.
Friends of ours went down to Glasgow for a performance of "The Messiah" and we had their two teenage children visiting for the afternoon. We had forgotten what it's like with teenagers in the house and they were great company! Watched "Shrek 2" and we stuffed ourselves with lunch followed by ice cream, cheesecake and mincepies!
Everton have signed James Beattie from Southampton - he is potentially a good player for us; has played four times for England and has scored a reasonable number of goals given the number of games he has played in the Premiership.
Christmas decorations are coming down today as Kriss wants to have a restful day tomorrow before going back to work on Wednesday.
